Atsu Sekhose

Alumni of NIFT, Atsu Sekhose launched his eponymous label in 2007 with a philosophy encompassing modern opulence, ineffable style and a zealous sense of glamour. He interned with one of India's renowned connoisseur designer, Tarun Tahiliani and also with Spanish high street brand Zara for a couple of years before launching his eponymous label ATSU. Primarily known for his chic, feminine and understated clothing, the line has evolved into a complete ready-to-wear collection which firmly holds the designer's signature style and modern adaptation to classic silhouettes.

Atsu Sekhose Awards and Recognition:

Atsu has been featured by Elle as a rising star of Indian fashion and he has been invited to showcase at Tranoi, Paris. The designer's Spring-Summer 2009 collection bagged him the Best Debutant by Elle style awards and Vogue spotlighted the same as one of the strongest collections of the season. In the past few Prêt collections, Atsu has made a conscious effort to highlight the diverse ethnic crafts and textiles from his homeland Nagaland and its neighbouring states. An initiate taken by The Ministry of Textile (GOI) and Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), who collaboratively sponsored Atsu’s Spring/Summer 2013 show, covered his effort.
