Poonam Bhagat
Along with being a literature buff, Poonam also scoured fashion magazines whenever possible from a very young age. She started illustrating models wearing Dior, Valentino, YSL, Ungaro, etc. when she was only 12 and she still sketches, paints with mixed media, writes anecdotes, travelogues and poems. Poonam also enjoys nature and wandering into the woods. She loves animals and adventure sports get her adrenaline pumping. Mountains inspire her, and so do the seas. She is extremely passionate about traversing uncharted territories and exploring the world!

The beginning…
After having toiled for 4 months, getting 70 clothing pieces ready, Poonam displayed her creations at an exhibition in 1991. It was a sell out, and she kept moving forward from there.

The label sells from the finest designer boutiques pan India and has made successful international forays into Milan, Rome, Tokyo, London, New York, Johannesburg and West Palm Beach, Florida. It actively participates in Indian Fashion Weeks and Poonam Bhagat has been on the Board of Governors for two consecutive 3-year terms at F.D.C.I.
