The beginning…
Before she started her journey as a designer in the Indian fashion industry, Sofi was an actress in South Indian films. While on set one day, there was a small incident that changed the course of her career. During the launch of her movie, she wore an ensemble that she had designed herself. This was appreciated beyond measure by her co-stars and the team too, which led her to take designing seriously and turn it into a full-time job instead. Her love for colours and mixing up different elements to create a look played a huge role in pushing her towards launching her own label.
