The Beginning…
Somya Goyal's journey into the fashion world started in her early years, influenced by her family's background in the garment manufacturing industry in New Delhi. She began experimenting with diverse materials in her father's workshops, learning from master artisans. These creative experiences ignited her passion for creativity and craftsmanship, establishing the foundation for her future career as a designer. The textile and design world she grew up in gave her practical experience that would later be reflected in her unique design vocabulary.

Somya Goyal's eponymous label personifies innovation and sustainability in fashion. Alternative fabrics like Bemberg, Tencel, Recycled Moss Polyester, and tactile explorations with materials like recycled PVC cords have become the brand's signature elements. With a passion for exploration, the brand is not afraid to try out different surface textures and also uses materials like metallic wires, horsehair sheets, jute, and cotton cords.
