Born and brought up in Bombay, belonging to a Punjabi family Shreya was enthusiastic about fashion very early on in life. An eye for everything aesthetic, design and play of colours came naturally. Her childhood hobbies included art, painting and dancing. In order to pursue her passion she enrolled at the most prestigious institute in India, NIFT Mumbai in Fashion Design.

Post graduation from nift Mumbai, Shreya worked at top notch labels like The House of Anita Dongre, Archana Kocchar & AGAMI by Neha Agarwal for a short stint before kick starting her dream and passion project - Shreya J Label.
A Brief introduction about your brand/label?
Shreya J Label focuses on styles that bring out a seamless blend of ethnic and contemporary designs. The brand focuses on unique digital prints with tremendous attention to detail. Flora-fauna and Global Crafts lays a huge inspiration on the design philosophy. The brand's signature is the use of textural and 3-dimensional surface ornamentation and embroidery, striking the right balance between hand work and silhouettes that are flowy and asymmetrical.
