Ritu Kumar started out by working with four hand-block printers and two tables in a small village nestled in the culture-rich city of Calcutta. She was the first woman to introduce the ‘boutique’ culture in India under the brand name ‘Ritu’. Today, the brand has 84 outlets panned over India and other countries too.
