Sonia Baderia is a fashion designer with more than 15 years of experience in fashion designing. She launched her own label in 2019 and since then has been designing for various celebrities. Sonia comes from a business family where fashion doesn't come naturally as a career option but her passion and endeavour made her become a success in the fashion field. Her hobbies are fitness, swimming, writing and cooking. She follows a very strict fitness regime and is very particular about her diet.

How did your career begin?
Sonia Baderia started early. She always had that designer instinct, an instinct to create something new out of already existing pieces. It was in 9th standard when she realised her potential when she designed an outfit from scratch for her mother. Since then she started designing outfits for her relatives and friends. She herself designed her wedding lehenga way back in 2009. Her husband saw that potential and encouraged her to start her own label in 2019.

Embroidery is the key USP of Sonia Baderia label. Sonia Baderia tries to give a modern touch to our age old art of embroidery. She excels in techniques like mesh crochet, zalli work, zardosi and many more. We create our own prints and create fusion between east and west. Look at our New age bridal collection from the range Queen of Aqua, you will understand how we work at creating the most beautiful designs for the modern bride who wants a mix of heritage and contemporary saga. Ethnic has evolved with time and so have we. Our muse is the modern age working women and we cater to her every requirement be it traditional, pret or even office wear which is in pipeline.
