Radhika Rawat
Born and brought up in a family with a background in jewellery making in Jaipur, Radhika has been creative since childhood, possessing low interest in studies. She was really motivated by her father and used to accompany him to his jewellery exhibitions in China, Hongkong, U.S.A., Dubai, etc. She was passionate about all things creative. Additionally, she also used to paint and took up fine arts as a subject in school. Radhika’s other hobbies include dancing & cooking.

The beginning…
Even though Radhika pursued a degree in fashion, she wasn’t too sure about making it into a profession. She took her passion for printing forward and was a part of quite a few art exhibits in Jaipur, in which her creations were received very well. So, in order to upskill, she started university at U.C.L. but only for a short course in Advanced Painting where the idea of converting her paintings into prints for fabrics was developed.

Prints by Radhika stands for hand-painted prints which the designer, Radhika paints herself. This is also the USP of the label. Each print is derived from the designer’s paintings, with blending themes, colors, patterns, fabrics, etc. They are her signature style as most of them are inspired by nature and its abstract elements, along with colors she loves.
