Parul Gandhi began her fashion career after earning a degree in fashion and design. After two years of working as a silhouette designer and undertaking various independent styling projects, Parul finally launched her eponymous label in 2015.

The brand's design philosophy is based on the principle of colour balance and placement of embroidery, which gives it a luxurious but understated look. The fabric and the surface decoration are the most prominent elements in the label’s creations. Renowned for its classic couture lines, the label also designs trousseau, pre-bridal functions, and occasion wear.
