With a keen interest in everything ‘fashion’, Naina knew from the age of 13 that she wanted to be a Fashion Designer. Her father’s creativity & confidence and her mother’s excellent knowledge in craft and design was the DNA combination that was passed on to her. That led her to discover that she was good at taking something that already existed and giving it her own radical and new take.

The beginning…
“Being a Gemini has been a true bonus, as my hunger for the extraordinary and trying to find newness in mundane tasks really led me to create and design clothing, from my own unique and original point of view,” says Naina.
NA-KA
NA-KA is a clothing label germinated with an inherent love for Japan - a place where traditions meet modernism. Deriving inspiration from Japanese aesthetics and design techniques, NA-KA was born in June 2019. NA-KA with its brand motto of slow living creates a whole new space for relaxed clothing, thus making every outfit a wardrobe winner. At NA-KA, designing is an instinctive process. The garments are so relaxed that they feel like a natural extension of the wearer. Wearing NA-KA is not just about making a statement; it uplifts the way you dress along with your mood. Motivated to promote and inspire ‘’slow living,’’ NA-KA takes time to produce, appreciate and cultivate quality not only in context to the garments but also in the company’s culture. The label truly believes in the less is more philosophy. It focuses on versatile garments made with love in small batches, transcending seasons and trends.
