Meenakshi Goel was encouraged to take up embroidery and cooking classic during her childhood summer vacations as they considered these to be appropriate skills for women to learn. The designer interpreted these embroidery skills to design potlis for herself and this led to the inception of her fashion journey and the foundation of Eena.

The beginning…
Over the years, Meenakshi Goel experimented with multiple career paths in an attempt to become more independent financially. The designer then followed her penchant for fashion designing. Since Meenakshi has an affinity towards her collection of potli bags, her trademark accessory for styling become her inspiration for designing her own creations
Eena
Eena aims to launch designs that the modern Indian woman would want. It is about celebrating our heritage, that there is only beauty in dressing up in traditional clothes and embroideries. It is an attempt to make these age-old forms of needlework more accessible to a generation that has a more western approach to fashion.
Highlighted Collections
The latest collection, Savera and Saanjh, serving as a reminder that after every sunset, there is a sunrise. These are some of the collections where Eena found its distinct signature style during creation and production. Savera features a lot of bags with heavy pearl-work that is an ode to the soft glamour of mornings. Saanjh, on the other hand, is a more colourful and varied collection and features a lot of regal tones, cascading nalki beads and tassels with modern touches.
