The beginning…
Devyani’s designing started when she was very little and loved making clothes for my Barbies. By the age 10, she already knew she wanted to be a designer. She started my eponymous designer label after working under popular names in the industry—Varun Bahl and Meera Muzaffar Ali for a few years.

Devyani Mehrotra seeks inspiration from various cultures and styles around the world with a freewheeling nomadic attitude. The label is all about contemporary Indian Clothing in rich colors, prints, embroideries, and layers upon layers of texture that allow women to effortlessly go from day to evening while looking chic and never compromising on comfort. The label’s vision is to retain distinctive expressions and provide not just things but memoirs, clothes that are lovingly worn and owned.
