The beginning…
"Our family is from Indore in Madhya Pradesh and there was an enormous influence there in terms of art and culture. Our father was also interested in gemstones and he would have our family jeweller come to the house and mix and match stones and pearls, and different beads to create really unique pieces and that’s how we both were first introduced to jewellery design. Even though we are self-taught designers, we’ve been around it our whole life and it’s something we’re both very passionate about,” says Belinda.
Belsi’s Jewelry
With passion for innovation and the need for perfection, Belinda and Riddhi founded Belsi’s Jewelry in 2010. The brand name comes from amalgamating the names of (BEL)inda and her daughter, Tul(SI) thereby mirroring the bond between a mother and a daughter and how jewellery plays an important role in that relation. It wishes to create a sisterhood that not only believes in looking chic together but also believes in rising together against all odds. The core value of Belsi’s lies in acknowledging and giving back to its community even in the smallest way possible.
