The beginning…
The designer started working out of a rented garage space in Santacruz, Mumbai in 1988, where she set up her first label “Whispers”. In 2006, she went on to launch her new label, ‘Babita M’, which now retails out of Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and internationally in Dubai, London, New York, Atlanta and Johannesburg.
