Megha Jain Madaan
Since childhood, designer Megha Jain Madaan has been an introvert and an artistic person who loved to sketch and paint. In her teenage years, she used to sketch clothing designs and get them stitched from her mother. The designer’s father always pushed her to become ambitious in life and wanted her to pursue a management course, which she did. Her mother always supported her and pushed her to follow her dream of becoming a fashion designer. Megha starts her day with yoga and her favourite sport is badminton.

The beginning…
For designer Megha Jain Madaan, a degree in Fashion Design from the esteemed Pearl Academy of Fashion, New Delhi was just the beginning. Her very next stint at an export house 'Magnolia Blossoms' gave her the experience of employing world class and sophisticated design techniques. She worked as an assistant designer at Not So Serious by Pallavi Mohan. Her stint with this prestigious design label expanded her understanding of the fashion industry, international design sensibilities and functioning of domestic markets.
Abstract
The label specializes in women’s wear which enables young Indian women to be expressive and experimental with their style while staying in touch with their roots. The design ideology revolves around incorporating detail with the usage of innovative embroidery techniques to off-beat textures that lead to contemporary ensembles. Innovative draping techniques fused with modernity & edgy minimalist detailing create the USP of Abstract.
