Kritika Murarka
Kritika Murarka is a luxury pret wear designer from Kolkata. She was born and brought up in a joint family with 2 sisters. As a teenager, she always had a knack for fashion and loved experimenting with Indian traditional textiles which now reflects in her work. After working for a couple of years at a fashion export house, she started her own label at the age of 25. The brand's aesthetics are largely shaped by the designer's strong Indian roots and her modern outlook. She works on reviving Indian weaves.

The beginning…
Kritika Murarka was working closely as a sample developer and merchandiser with European designers at an export house in Kolkata where she decided to launch her own label.

The brand specializes in conventional weaves, textures, prints and embroideries. Each collection is different from the other as the designer believes there is so much to explore in the fashion world. The designer loves to create prints and get them hand-printed which are further hand embellished. She combines traditional fabrics and weaves with modern silhouettes to create an exquisite collection.
